At The Wiser Financial Group, I serve as one of the partners, financial advisors, and tax planning strategists at the firm. After spending nearly a decade on the east side of the state, I returned to my roots in Southwest Michigan. Born and raised in Portage, I have the advantage of area-specific knowledge paired with extensive tax and financial planning experience working with corporate financial firms: Kayden Wealth Management and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
For the large majority, my clients are employees with some of the larger global corporations, headquartered in Southwest Michigan; primarily Pfizer, Stryker Corporation, and The Kellogg Company. With our firms’ well-established history of working with these corporate employees since 1960, and my prior experience working with larger corporate firms out of Detroit, our clients benefit from our collaborative team, having a deep-rooted knowledge of how to balance local and global financial impacts for their long term retirement planning.
Our clients benefit by working with me of having a sound, knowledgeable advisor, who is able to provide clarity on how to strategically balance corporate employee benefits and stock options, early retirement buyouts, the low cost of living in Kalamazoo, and plan for their retirement. No matter what stage you are at in your career, my greatest joy as an advisor is helping to educate my clients and assist in providing confidence of how to integrate corporate employee opportunities, with their long term personal investments, while enjoying the small-town perks of living in my hometown in Southwest Michigan.
While I am not at the office, in my spare time I enjoy reading, exercising, sports, and visiting with family and friends. I am also the proud fur father to my Cocker Spaniel, Greyson, who I adopted in 2019. It was completely worth the thirty six-hour drive down to Texas to bring him home to Kalamazoo!
